There’s a whole class of people who you lose as soon as you say the word ROI - that’s a code word for “no”.
What’s the return on expertise? You can’t model it as a simple $ in -> $ out. In some ways it’s more like an option - some probability that you’ll get a win from a given effort, but you have to build a portfolio because 9/10 expire out of the money.
